Dec 19, 2005 If you have downloaded 2004rerun files using "Download Files Now" method (to create a mget.tar file) before Dec 19, 2005, please download them again. Wrong links have been discovered today (Dec 19, 2005), which point to the old data files.
The North America Regional Reanalysis (NARR) was computed at NCEP and initially covers the period 1979-2003. The highest resolution output is at 32 km spatially and every three hours temporally. NCEP has plans to continually extend the NARR to the current date. When these data become available they will be added to the NCAR archives.
All the NARR data are available from this server and the NCAR Mass Storage System (MSS). The data are organized into various products and are accessed by downloading files and using data read software. To begin your access to the NARR archive at NCAR use the table of contents at the left.
