This GRIB decoder for editions 0 and 1 has been tested on Sun/Solaris and PC/Linux systems. Documentation is included with the source code. Not all grid types can currently be decoded. See the documentation for the grid types that are supported. Contact Bob Dattore to get a grid type added.

This C program will convert from GRIB2 format to GRIB1 format. You will also need the GRIB2 decoder, above, and the JasPer and JPEG libraries. Not all GRIB2 products and grid definitions can currently be converted. The program will let you know if there is a problem. Contact Bob Dattore to get conversions added for other products and grid definitions. |
