- How do I discover the RDA datasets and find the ones that meet my research needs?
There are several ways to discover RDA datasets:
- Use the "Look for Data" menu to the left to find datasets in your topic of interest. You will then be presented with other ways to narrow your list. Click here for help on narrowing a list of datasets.
- Enter keywords in the "Search" field under the navigation bar.
- View catalogs that we have compiled (please note that these are not always complete and are not the best way to begin your search).
- Contact us with a description of your data needs. We will happily assist you in finding data.

- I went to a dataset home page but I can't find the data. Where is it?
Once you are at a dataset home page, click the  tab in the navigation bar near the top of the page or in the DATA ACCESS: section of the dataset description. You will be presented with a table containing all of the possible ways that you can access the data. For some datasets, you will be able to access the data directly from this server. Other datasets will require that you contact the listed specialist to gain access. That person will be listed in the "Personalized Request" entry of the table. At any time, if you have questions about the data, please feel free to contact the dataset specialist.
