This is the eleventh ECMWF-users' newsletter.  To get copies of previous
newsletters, use anonymous FTP to ncardata.ucar.edu [128.117.8.111] and
change directory to datasets/ds111.2/news.  Or, use a WWW client such
as Xmosaic and open http://www.ucar.edu, then select the NCAR Research Data 
Archives.  This will get you into the Data Support Section ftp area with a 
nicer interface.  You can then get into the ECMWF information via the 
information on ds111.2 (under the "frequently used datasets" or the menu
of all datasets).

        Basic Consolidated Dataset (ds111.2) update

The Basic Consolidated Dataset (ds111.2) has been updated with the October -
December 1993 data.  If you are planning to use the data on NCAR's Cray, you 
can obtain the listing of the volume serial numbers containing the data 
from the file datasets/ds111.2/MASTER, via anonymous ftp to ncardata.ucar.edu.
This file is also on the Mass Store under the name /DSS/D/DS1112.  You can
also access this file via the WWW interface at http://www.ucar.edu.

The volume serial numbers (all in the /DSS/ directory) are:
	Y20325         1993oct
	Y20326         1993nov
	Y20327         1993dec

        Advanced Operational Analysis (ds111.0, .1, .3) update

The Advanced Operational Analysis datasets (ds111.0, .1, .3) will be 
updated with the July - December 1993 data soon.  We have not yet received
the data from ECMWF but they have told us that they have mailed the tapes,
so we hope to have it soon.  A short message will be mailed out when the 
data has been received and the update complete.
