1.)I'm unsure of the units for the net radiation. I believe that the standard
units are watts/meters squared.
2.)Questions concerning potential evapotranspiration (PET) can be directed to
Dave Miskus at Miskus@climon.wwb.noaa.gov
3.)Prcp Flags
(A) Old format (*Prior to 1987*)
The valid values for the first character are:
0= no prcp in past 24 hours
1= prcp event in past 24 hours
9= precip missing
Any other values cannot be validated and should be disregarded.
(B) New format (*1987 to present*)
The valid values are:
0= 24 hour amount
3= amount obtained by totaling reports for periods less than 24 hours
9= missing prcp
4.)I haven't had an opportunity to update the data in the anonymous area. I
hope to be able to get some data out there next week.
