CDIAC U.S. Historical Climatology Network (HCN) Daily Temperature, Precipitation, and Snow Observations for 1871-1997

This dataset contains daily
observations of maximum and minimum temperature, precipitation,
snowfall, and snow depth for 1062 observing stations in the
lower 48 United States. These stations are part of the U.S.
Historical Climatology Network, which is a National Climatic
Data Center (NCDC) database.
We have obtained these data from the Carbon Dioxide
Information Analysis Center's (CDIAC) ftp server.
