These TD13 (ds467.0) inventory summaries were prepared from two versions of the
dataset: 1990 fixed block (fblk) and 2005 reanalysis-2 (ras2).  The fblk
inventory incorporates an early version of the station library (see sta_dict_history.pdf)
and omits some data for three stations (see addendum_1990_version.txt) so expect
minor differences when comparing fblk and ras2 summaries.  Within fblk
summaries, fblk_sta_ea_por.txt may differ from others because it was prepared
independently and contributed with the 1990 fblk data (and before the addendum).

"sta" summaries include measurement site which in TD13 is the combination of
deck (13xx) and station identifier to distinguish coincidental use; i.e.,
station identifier alone may not be unique. fblk data are in quasi deck-station-
time order but ras2 data are in station-time-deck order to bring together data
for the same station identifier, often the same location (see sta_dupno_all.txt).

"vsn" in summary names identify the NCAR Mass Store System Data volume
associated with that deck-station's data.

"inv_yr" (year-asterisk) listings are the most compact summaries, depicting all
possible years in one line for a deck-station.

"count_mo" summaries show more detail with record counts for each month.
