FILE CONTENTS EXPLAINED
Show, for the quarter, for each station, daily counts of observations received.
A '-' means 0 or not applicable, and '*' means 10 or more. The monthly totals
should match those in the list_A_station_receipts,daily/WMO_blocks* and
list_A_station_receipts,daily/call_sign* files.
A subset of the USAF Station Dictionary, listing only those stations which report
either raobs (R in column 42) or pibals (P in column 43) is here.
PLEASE NOTE: this is NOT a list of stations for which we have ADP raobs &
pibals - it is merely a cross-reference.
CAVEAT: the counts for the call_sign (non-WMO numbered stations) may be in
error - it involves a bad "pointer" in the software. We have not fully investigated this, let alone fix it. (1998Oct02)
