DATA FORMAT
The grids in this dataset are in WMO GRIB Edition 1 format. Most of the parameters are specified with the standard codes from GRIB Code Table 2, but a few are
specified using a DSS-defined extension to the parameter table. A description of the GRIB format is available in the General Documentation section of our website, under Format Descriptions.
