Dewey and Heim's Northern Hemisphere Snow Cover, Weekly and Monthly 1966Nov-1991Dec

This dataset, from the National Snow and Ice Data Center, contains weekly and monthly grids of snow cover fields for November 1966 through December 1991. The data values (indicating snow cover/no snow cover) are available on a 190.5 km resolution polar stereographic grid covering the Northern Hemisphere. Data were derived from NMC and Navy maps by Dewey and Heim at NOAA.
