The access routines listed below were once run on the NCAR Crays, but will need modifications to run elsewhere. More portable software may be found in the GRIB Library . There you will also find software to convert from GRIB2 to GRIB1 and GRIB1 to GRIB2, in the "C code" bullet. Also note that the access software distributed with the Reanalysis CD-ROMs will access these grids.
