We are obligated by ECMWF to register data users and restrict access as shown in these forms. Note that the permission form for the ERA40 data is different than the form for the operational and ERA15 data.

If you only need a permission form for use of ECMWF software, please use the ERA40 permission form.

An online permission form is now available for the ERA40 data.

Your permission form will be processed usually within 24-48 hours of receipt, after which you will be notified of the status via email. To ensure quick response, please print all fields on the form legibly.
